GridSpan was founded on a simple principle: “Doing great work with great people.”

My father and uncles worked in the utility industry—on the electric and communications side—and that’s where the foundation of this company was truly laid. I grew up with a deep respect for the craft of construction. After nearly 20 years working in engineering and design, I saw firsthand the recurring disconnect between design and construction—gaps that too often lead to delays, cost overruns, or frustration on the ground.

We built this company to bridge those gaps with precision, transparency, and professionalism—values that are often missing in an industry underserved by fly-by-night contractors or bloated service firms.

With deep field experience and a commitment to engineering-grade design, we created GridSpan to be a partner that truly understands power distribution and fiber expansion—both on paper and in the dirt.

Meet our Team

  • Vice President of Operations

    Dominic oversees GridSpan’s strategic growth, legal and financial operations, and technical systems. He brings the discipline of public service, the vision of a builder, and the intensity of an operator committed to getting it done right. From contract negotiations to system design, he ensures that GridSpan remains compliant, scalable, and deeply aligned with the needs of its clients.


  • President & Owner Operator

    Wes brings 20 years of utility design experience — and a track record working with major cooperatives like TRICO Electric Cooperative — Wes leads field operations, technical delivery, and client relationships. He’s deeply respected in the industry for his ability to solve problems others miss, manage large-scale design operations, and train teams to deliver under pressure.

Pole Data Collection:

High-precision IKE GPS capture with field annotation, geotagged imagery, and structure-level metadata.

Joint Use Analysis:

Customized reports, visualizations, and compliance documentation for third-party attachers and pole owners.

Make-Ready Engineering (MRE):

Analysis of attachment capacity, NESC clearance validation, pole loading inputs, and joint use readiness.

Utility Design & Drafting:

CAD-based design and utility layout for fiber optics and power distribution, ready for permitting and construction.
